Olafur Eliasson: In Real Life
The Tate Modern
Olafur Eliasson’s latest exhibition, ‘In real life’ is currently on display at the Tate Modern. Eliasson’s work enhances our sensory involvement with people and the wider world—reminding us that we are physical bodies, not just minds. His creations challenge the viewers’ expectations, in his 2010 piece Din blinde passager (Your blind passenger), viewers are immersed in a smoke filled, one way passage—walking towards the unknown and into uncertainty. Enormously thought and feeling provoking, reactions to Elisson’s installtions can range from fear to delight, from confusion to clarity.
We find this work inspiring, particularly for our Design Sphere. Read more about the Spheres here.
