The Victoria & Albert Museum

In today’s world, we must continually question our impact on the earth, exploring the consequences of what we give and take from our planet. Displayed from April 2018 to January 2019, the Victoria and Albert Museum’s Fashioned from Nature show explored fashion’s layered relationship with nature, using references from 1600 to the present day.  A holistic look at the use of nature as both fashion motif, and material, was furthered when highlighting contemporary designers who use fashion to comment on climate change — suggestive of a craft coming full circle. Nichols Creative is passionate about design that betters the world and found the V&A’s ethical exploration enlightening and inspiring.
